Thread: iPhone 3G stuck on apple logo

Hi all

Ok, so I have an iPhone 3G which I borrowed for my partner to use for a bit while she waited for her new iPhone 4.

Upgraded it to 4.3.3, jailbreaked it with redsn0w fine.

Once she got her iPhone 4, I needed to give the 3G back so I went to Settings and chose Erase All Data and Settings. Left it for about an hour and it was just stuck on the Apple logo.

Now all I can do is turn it off by holding down the Power and Home buttons down together for a few seconds. Returns to Apple logo if I turn it back on, flashes once every few mins if I leave it.

I tried to rejailbreak it with redsn0w and it seemed to work at first, detecting the phone by putting it into DFU mode...but again, after a while just sits on Apple logo.

Tried using DFU mode with iTunes to restore but iTunes does not detect anything, ever.

What can I do? Therre is obviously some kind of communication with the phone, as redsn0w can start to jailbreak it, hoping this is enough to recover it?

Yeh hongman im the same i tried a restore and got error 1013 and tried again to restore, no joy, took it to apple store they restored no probs. but I stupidly tried to restore it to previous save and bang im back to itunes logo.....STUCK.
