Thread: Please Help - No service problem

Hello,

I got a cheap iphone (cheap coz it a bit battered but good for playing around with till i decide if i want to buy one), have done jailbreak using jailbreakme.com with no problems and have done the ultrasn0w for unlocking. It is a UK 02 phone version 4.0.1 Firmware 05.13.04 and i would like to use a 3 UK contract sim in it but it just says no service. What have i missed or not done right? Oh and it has updated carrier settings which show as Three 7.2

well i got a update today through cydia it was the new ultrasnow so try tht and after u install it turn your phone of then put yer sim in and turn yer phone bck on and see if thts works if not let me no and i will see what i can do ..................kenny1690....................

k m8 so what u have to do is go to cydia download ultrasnow once its completed turn your phone of and put in yor new sim card swich bck on and leave for a min and c if u get your signal ...............................kenny1690.......... ...................

The only update its showing is "facebreak" ????

right what to do is if u can try another sim card in it like voda orange or 02 or tmobile just dont use the one u want maybe that sim u want to use is fecked so just try the others to make sure we can get a signal cause it maybe the sim thts fecked ........................kenny1690................. ...

Have tried a Vodafone which is from another iphone and it then says vodafone but no signal and cant make calls, the 3 sim works fine in my sony ericsson. I have been baffled by this for 2 days now xxx Thanks for help xxx

right all we can do if u want is to a full restore and start from the begining and install 4.0.1 then jailbreak it go to 666ultrasnow and try again if u decide to do tht let me no and we will go through it toghether k just let mee no .........kenny1690................... xxxx

So you arn`t getting any signal at all from any sim?

Yes please that will be fine as this was the point of getting one cheap xxx
Let me know what to do and i will follow u step by step.....
