Thread: Problems with Jailbroken Iphone 3g

I purchased a jailbroken Iphone 3g. I am not that computer or cell phone savy with the software but I do know a thing or two about it. The firmware is 05.13.04. I am having three problems with the phone.

1. Voice calls: Most of the times when I make a phone call, the call will not go through and if it does, the call drops with in a few seconds to 5 mins. If I try calling back, I will get a call failed message.

2. The 2nd problem I am having is my text messages. At certain times of the day, I will not be able to send nor receive text messages.

3. the third problem are the apps. The only apps that seem to work are facebook and yahoo messenger. Any other app i download will open for a few seconds then close on its own.

The 3rd problem is the least of my concerns. I want to concentrate on the first two problems before addressing the apps.

I went back to the person who sold me the phone and he could not seem to find out what the problem is.
