Apple has made a statement about preparing to patch the exploit comex used for JailbreakMe.

Their statement says:

Quote
We're aware of this reported issue, we have already developed a fix and it will be available to customers in an upcoming software update. There are two distinct vulnerabilities in the iPhone uncovered with the jailbreak software’s release, One flaw is in the way the browser parses PDF files, enabling the code to get inside a protective sandbox, and the other hole allows code to break out of the sandbox and get root, or control, privileges on the device.
They did not specify a release date, whether it will be a separate release, or whether it will be part of the 4.1 firmware that has been released to developers.

If you are planning to jailbreak using this tool it sounds like you should do it soon since the buzz is going around about how vulnerable Safari is using this exploit.
