Question iPhone 4 - Water damage... Repair in progress

    Hardware: iPhone 4.0, IOS 5.0.1

Problem: Water damage. Dropped phone in water.
    Action:
    • Removed from water and powered off device (it was still working).
    • Let dry for >72 hours
    • Power on failed.
    • Plugged into OSX via USB and got the apple logo... OS did not load. Reboots every minute or so...
    • Checked Forums and learned about iRecovery (installed)
    • Put iPhone into DFU mode and get this output:

    .
    OSX:~ user123$ iRecovery -s
    iRecovery - Recovery Utility

    • Purchased new battery - replaced without success.
    • Tried using another battery from a working iPhone just to make sure my replacement battery wasn't faulty. No luck.

Does anyone have any thoughts on what I should try next?

    Help would be greatly appreciated.
