Thread: Text Messageing

I have a jailbroken and unlocked iphone 3gs iso 5.0.1 base 6.15 since the upgrade to 5.0.1 i cannot use my text messaging. I can't wright any send any or receive any, the app opens and is showing blank i tap on the symbel to wright and the app closes with in 10sec. also i have noticed that i don't get any sound when a notification arrives from other programs, but do get phone calls.
Please any advise or help to solve this problem.
