I have a question about a wierd experience I had today. 1st off I have an Iphone 3G running OS4.2.1 and firmware 06.15.00 that I unlocked and using on a Go plan. I purchased another for my son and it came in today. I ran the same jailbreak, installed Cydia and had the problem with the screen flickering everytime I did something. So I went through the factory reset. I had a close call cause it froze on me and would not go passed the boot screen. I finally got itunes to recognize it in recovery mode. Reset it again and it worked. After all of that with the original 4.2.1 and firmware 5.14.xx I put the go phone sim in and it stated that it could not activate with that sim. I put the old att sim in and let the phone activate thru Itunes. After that was complete I pullled the sim out and put the go phone sim back in and it worked. Has anyone heard of or know how this is possible?I have heard of anyone getting an Iphone on another netwrk without unlocking. It's bugging me as to how I exactually did it and what allows it to work?
