    restore unlock issues

    Hey everyone first post here. I just upgraded from my iphone 2g which I unlocked and jailbroke myself since I use tmobile to an iphone 3gs. I am having issues restoring this phone though. I keep getting error 3194 no matter what I do. I tried added saurik’s IP to the host file and that didn't work, so I tried moving the host file completely and that didn't work either.

    Info on what I'm using

    iphone 3gs
    Itunes 9.2 (tried the latest 10.? version too)
    IOS 3.1.2

    Whatever I do this has to be able to work with tmobile. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    iphone 3gs upgrade from 3.1.2 to 4.0.1 issue error 3194

    Unlock & Jailbreak Any iPhone
    Hi, I am trying to upgrade iphone 3GS from 3.1.2 to 4.0.1. It is not jailbroken currently. I tried adding saurik ip in hosts file and try to restore to 4.0.1 but it gave error 3194. Please suggest the steps.
