Curious about how my iPhone 6’s selfie-camera would do, I recorded a video of myself performing a modern romantic song in Russian. Upon reviewing the results, two things became obvious. One, my iPhone’s selfie-camera sucks unbearably, and two, the sound quality was surprisingly high. This led me to believe that, had the recording been done with the main camera, the results would have been much more noteworthy, although, of course, it still wouldn’t cancel the necessity to come up with a good performance, especially as far as the guitar part was concerned. Overall, this was a very positive experience, as not only I learned a song I liked, but also realized I needed better equipment if I was to continue with my immodest recording plan.
